Shafaq began her professional career as a student at the esteemed Saroj Khan’s Dance Academy. Moreover, her dancing skills left a great impression on Saroj Khan. Therefore, Saroj Khan motivated her mother to send Shafaq into TV career. In response to this advice, Shafaq relocated to Mumbai with her mother and sisters and began working in the television industry.
In the 2010 popular show “Sapna Babul KA…Bidaai,” Shafaq made her television debut as Guni. It took her 644 episodes to make her on-screen debut.
