Mumbai-born Indian actress and model Shraddha Das is well-known for her roles in Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi cinema. She was born into a Bengali family on March 4, 1987, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her mother, Sapna Das, stays at home to raise her children, and her father, Sunil Das, is a businessman. The family is Buddhists. Her education was completed at Saint Anthony’s Girls High School in Mumbai, where she was raised. She had begun taking part in theater productions and workshops led by National School of Drama artists during her graduation years. Moreover, she has also created print ads for 400 different catalogs, including McDowell’s and Aristocrat.
In Telugu, Shraddha debuted as an actress in the movie Siddhu from Sikakulam. Soon after the first film’s release, she received a barrage of Telugu film offers, landing five straight. Target, 18, 20 Love Story, Diary, Adhineta, and Arya 2 were those five films. Her most notable movie to date is Arya 2.
She made her Bollywood debut in the sports drama Lahore (2010), where she won praise from critics for her performance. When Destiny signed three more Telugu films in 2010—Darling, Maro Charitra, and Nagavalli—she had big plans for herself as well. Furthermore, her most notable and unforgettable Bollywood film was “Dil toh Baccha hai Ji,” starring Emraan Hashmi, which came out in 2011.
